Halfsim Refund PolicyEffective date: July 12, 2026
Hills Inc. (the "Company") handles withdrawal and refunds for eSIM Products sold on Halfsim as follows, in accordance with Article 17 of the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.1. When Withdrawal Is AvailableThe full payment amount is refunded when all of the following conditions are met:• Within 7 days from the date of purchase• The eSIM has not been installed on a device• Use has not commenced, such as by connecting to a network
2. When Withdrawal Is Restricted• The eSIM has already been installed on a device• Use has commenced, such as by connecting to a network• The Product has been damaged for reasons attributable to the User• Resale has become impracticable due to the passage of time, such as expiration of the Product's validity period
This constitutes commencement of supply of digital content under Article 17(2) of the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, and the Company gives prior notice of this on the purchase screen. After use has commenced, no partial refunds are provided for remaining periods or remaining data. 3. Refunds for Reasons Attributable to the CompanyIn the following cases, Users may request a full refund or reissuance regardless of the withdrawal restrictions:• Payment was completed but the eSIM was not properly issued or delivered• A Product different from what was displayed on the Product page was provided• The Product cannot be used normally for reasons attributable to the Company
However, external factors beyond the Company's control — such as temporary local carrier outages or speed and quality degradation due to network conditions — do not constitute grounds for a refund. 4. Refund of OverpaymentsIf an overpayment occurs, such as a duplicate payment or a payment error, the Company refunds the full amount.
5. How to Request a Refund and Processing Steps• To request a refund, email [email protected] with your order information (payment email, order details) and the reason for the refund.• The Company informs you of the result or progress within 3 business days of receipt.• Once approved, the refund is returned to the original payment method within 3–7 business days. The actual time may vary depending on the payment method. AddendumThis Policy takes effect on July 12, 2026.
